Ross, Donald Hugh LAC (P) R4042- under training. From Duffield, Alberta. Killed Jun 29/41. age 22. #33 Service Flying Training School, Carberry, Manitoba. LACs D H Ross and E C Helmer were killed when Anson Aircraft # 6391 crashed five miles south -east of the railway station at Pleasant Point, Manitoba. The accident occurred three days before graduation so his pilot wings were sent to his family. Leading Aircraftman Pilot Ross is buried in the Roman Catholic Cemetery at Edmonton, Alberta
